Dear Zodiacs Community,
With the introduction of PlayHQ there will be a change to the way you pay your fees. Previously you paid your total season fee to Northeast Zodiac and the club paid your Netball SA affiliation fee (which we were charged on a per season basis). Netball SA will now be charging their fee upfront direct to the player, on an annual basis. These changes have now been introduced by Netball Australia.
How will this impact our fee structure?
Members fees will be charged as follows:
Northeast Zodiac will charge a club fee and the SADNA fee (which excludes any Netball SA fees).
You will be charged an ANNUAL affiliation fee by Netball SA the first time you register for a club in 2022. This annual fee covers player registration for any competitions played between 01 April 2022 to 31 March 2023, and it must be paid by each player upfront when registering. Individual players register once with Netball SA and are members for an entire year (e.g. Winter 2022 & Summer 2022/23).
This will allow a player to compete in multiple competitions in a 12 month period whilst paying only the 1 upfront affiliation fee.
Meaning that each player will pay more in the first season they register within the netball year (01 April 2022 to 31 March 2023). If a player registers for Winter season they will NOT be charged the Netball SA fee again when registering for Summer season. If a player chooses to play in Summer only, they will be charged the annual Netball SA fee when registering for Summer season.
